Character Analysis: Cheryl Mason

Cheryl Mason is a more recently added survivor to Dead By Daylight, included in the Silent Hill DLC, and one that I play as quite often due to her helpful perks. Let's review them, shall we?

Her first perk is Soul Guard, which grants Cheryl the Endurance Status effect when she's been healed from the Dying state. The second perk is Blood Pact, and it allows Cheryl to see the Obsession if they have been injured. This doesn't count when Cheryl herself is the Obsession, as she can already see herself. But the Obsession can see when Cheryl is injured. Repressed Alliance is our third and final perk, at least what's unique to Cheryl. It gives Cheryl the ability to block generators after she's worked on them for a certain amount of time, which comes in handy when a Killer is trying to halt your progress.

Cheryl started volunteering at a crisis convention center after the horrific death of her father, and she'd also dealt with having to escape from a cult that had tailed her since birth, so there's that. But the day she started taking calls on her own, the Enitity dragged her into the fog, never to be seen again.

Overall, her perks are a bit hard to use at times, aside from Repressed Alliance, but a good Survivor in general to start with if you are new to DBD.
